Jardines
started catering weddings almost right from the beginning, back in 1977.
They might have been small, big, indoors or out doors, but one thing
that always has held true, we have always managed to please those two
very important people on that special day. We have committed ourselves
to always keeping up with current trends within our capabilities and
delivering the professional service and quality food we have committed
ourselves to.
BACK PATIO
We have
the most magnificent gardens in the county. Our Spanish colonial style gardens are a landmark that is beautiful, full of life, color,
and aroma. An eclectic array of fruit trees, flowers, native and imported trees are
pulled together with brick paths and beautiful patios, making for a wonderful place to
hold your wedding.
Susan
Botelho, our Restaurant Manager coordinates all weddings and special
events. She has been employed by Jardines for the past 20 years, and has eagerly taken the responsibility of
making that special day a very memorable one. If you need availability of dates or if you
have any questions please feel free to call her for an appointment at
831-623-4466. Best times to reach Susan are Thursdays through Sundays and Tuesdays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The area we use for large weddings is the back courtyard. You must have
at least 100 guests in order to reserve this area and the maximum is 200. If you
are having both the reception along with the actual ceremony the maximum is 150
guests. At this time we don't have an indoor facility to hold more than 85
guests, so the time of year you choose to have your wedding reception is very important if
you are having more then 85 attend May through October are the months we usually
book most of our weddings.
MENU
- CHILE
VERDE, chucks of lean pork cooked with tomatoes, onion
and chili in a zesty Tomatillo sauce with spices.
- SPANISH
RICE, savory Spanish rice prepared according to our
original recipe.
- REFRIED
BEANS, pinto beans boiled till soft, then mashed with a
little vegetable oil, salt and Monterey jack cheese.
- CHICKEN
ENCHILADAS, tender boiled chicken wrapped in a soft corn
tortilla, black olives and onions then covered with a mild
red sauce with melted cheese.
- VEGETABLES,
assorted in season vegetables, broccoli, cauliflower,
carrots, and asparagus cut into brochettes or slices and
carefully arranged in large platters with a spicy sour cream
sauce.
- FRESH
FRUIT PLATTER, assorted fruit, apples, oranges, bananas,
peaches, nectarines and grapes nicely displayed on large
platters.
- CHEESE
PLATTERS, Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese cut into
rectangular cubes then garnished with grapes.
- SHRIMP
SALAD, crispy, fresh iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, olives,
red onions, baby shrimp and a creamy vinaigrette dressing.
- QUESADILLAS,
melted Monterey Jack cheese, chopped onions and black olives
inside of a folded flour tortilla then cut into bite size
pieces.
- FLAUTAS,
chopped roast beef inside a rolled corn tortilla, then are
cut to small portions, fried, then covered with fresh
guacamole and sprinkled with cheese.
- FRESH
FRUIT COMPOTE DESSERT, fresh fruit in season, honeydew,
cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple, grapes and mango cut into
cubes then covered with a banana and triple sec sauce.

We currently don't
have different menus with different prices. This is our
standard buffet menu and we don't suggest any changes to this, but if
you would
like a certain change please check with the wedding coordinator to see
if it
is possible and the price that reflects that change.

The above prices do not include sales tax of 8.00% and a service
charge
of 18% or any other special arrangements you may request. All food,
liquor, and and beverages must be bought through the restaurant.
Bringing
in these items from the outside is not permitted.
PRIVATE BAR
You may request a
private bar for your event where only your guests can
order drinks. If you request this service you be will be charged $200.00
and will also be asked what method you want us to use in charging the
drinks.
- HOSTED:
you pay for every drink your guests order.
- NO HOST:
your guests pays for every drink they order
- SEMI HOST:
you pay for certain drinks only, beer, margaritas, etc.
- TIMED
HOST: you pay all drinks ordered for a specified amount of
time.

ALL LIQUOR MUST BE
BOUGHT AND SERVED BY JARDINES' PERSONNEL.
WE ARE ALSO LEGALLY BOUND TO DENY SERVICE OF ALCOHOLIC
DRINKS TO ANY MINOR OR ADULT WHO SEEMS TO US TO BE INTOXICATED
AND HAVE THEM REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES IF NEED BE.
THINGS WE PROVIDE
- CHAIRS:
Folding chairs for contracted amount of people and 75
additional chairs if you are also having the wedding
ceremony here.
- ALL
TABLES: All tables needed for your event except tables
that should be brought by contracted parties, DJ, or other
musicians.
- PLATES,
SILVERWARE, PAPER NAPKINS: We do not use plastic
utensils or paper plates, however we do use paper white
triple lined napkins.
- WHITE
LINEN: For head table, sign in table, buffet table, cake
table, gift table, coffee/punch table.
- BUFFET
LUNCHEON: We provide the above buffet luncheon.

THINGS WE DO
NOT PROVIDE
- DECORATIONS:
You will be asked at what time your decorating committee
will arrive to decorate your tables, arch, we need to know
this so we can have the tables washed and dried in time for
your arrival.
- MUSIC: We
do not provide music of any type. You are welcome to hire
your band, DJ, or musicians of your preference. We reserve
the right to determine sound level,. and the music must end
by 7:00pm as we are located near a residential neighborhood.
- ELECTRICAL
CORDS OR OTHER EQUIPMENT: Please advise your committees
or other contracted parties that we do not provide
electrical cords, adapters, sockets or any other type of
accessories.
- CAKE: Please
let us know what time on your wedding day your cake will
arrive so we can have the cake table ready. Also make sure
they set up multi tiered cakes. If they are charging you a
deposit for the cake plate or other things, please make sure
you take them with you at the end of your event. We are not
responsible for lost items left over night.
- LINEN
FOR ROUND GUEST TABLES: We do not provide round table
cloths for the guest tables, many wedding don't use them
because the table looks nice with out them. If you prefer
them you can rent your favorite color from any party store.
You will need a round table cloth with a hole in the middle
for the umbrella and the diameter of table is 54 inches. You
will also need two people to set up the tables and remove
them if you want to take the linen home with you.
